Where to get base-station data for PPK

Public CORS networks

National and regional agencies publish GNSS observations from permanent stations. Examples include NGS CORS in the United States and Geoscience Australia services. Availability, formats and access conditions vary.

Commercial correction networks

Commercial networks can provide broader coverage, support and predictable access in some regions. Confirm the service area, observation interval and licence terms.

Your own base receiver

For sites beyond suitable network coverage, record base observations locally and export RINEX for processing.

What makes base data suitable

Check station distance, observation overlap, sampling interval, antenna information and data completeness. The nearest station is not automatically the best station.

A simpler route

KlauPPK integrates supported CORS sources into the project workflow and also accepts suitable local-base RINEX.
