KlauPPK vs DJI Terra: which workflow fits your work?

DJI Terra includes PPK capability for selected DJI workflows and may already be part of your toolset. If it fixes the mission, supports the aircraft and produces the coordinate output you need, it can be the sensible choice. KlauPPK becomes relevant when the job extends beyond that first-pass, single-ecosystem workflow.

Choose DJI Terra when

• Your aircraft and processing workflow are supported in the current Terra release.

• You already have suitable base-station data prepared.

• The available coordinate and height outputs match the deliverable.

• The data resolves cleanly without further processing investigation.

Choose KlauPPK when

• You operate supported DJI and non-DJI aircraft and want one processing workflow.

• You want supported CORS data retrieval inside the software, or a consistent path for your own RINEX base.

• The project requires coordinate-system, geoid, vertical-datum or site-localization handling.

• You need multi-pass tools to investigate a float solution.

• You need mapping-ready geotags, supported accuracy information and QA outputs.

The honest answer

If Terra meets the job, keep using it. If you are fighting floats, preparing base data manually, moving between aircraft ecosystems or delivering into a controlled project datum, test the same mission in KlauPPK and compare the complete workflow.
